Up to £5,000 of funding made available for angling projects.
The Angling Trust has launched the first of two phases of this years's Angling Improvement Fund (AIF). The £320,000 fund is open to applications from fishing clubs, commercial venues, councils, charities and community organisations for projects which benefit angling for coarse fish and non-migratory trout.  Administered by the Trust on behalf of the Environment Agency, the fund is being made available to support angling facilities and access improvements on rivers and at angling venues around the country. The deadline for applications is 20th September 2017. For further details see the Angling Trust website.
