Anglers from Colne Valley Fisheries Consultative collected photographs and water samples of a pollution incident on Christmas Eve. This has been reported to the Environment Agency. 

The first picture is a winterbourne chalk stream in West Hyde upstream of the discharge point from HS2’s Western Valley Slopes, the second is downstream of the discharge point.

  CVFC have submitted a freedom of information request and say that their investigations are ongoing.
