Tony Booker - ColneCAN lead visited Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment works with members of the Three Rivers District Council water quality partnership team and the council leader Sarah Nelmes.

A really useful visit with issues such as storm discharges, other more relevant forms of river pollution and  trade effluent permitted discharges from HS2 being the subject of discussion. Really heartening to hear of the various planned upgrades for Maple Lodge that will  increase resilience of the site. Thanks to Thames Water for facilitating the visit.
