65 students from Royal Holloway University of London visited the Ash studying aquatic invertebrates  for their Ecology and Biology degrees.

 

Spelthorne Natural History Society have a long-standing cooperation with Royal Holloway University of London whose 2nd year undergraduates studying ecology, biology & zoology come to the Ash Link Nature Reserve every May for field work.  Apart from taking botanical quadrats from the meadows, they take aquatic invertebrate specimens from the River Ash for further study.
