7. Misbourne modelling project

Aims: Manage flow; Work together

Water body: River Misbourne
Project description

Project to help increase knowledge of fluvial flood risk in the Misbourne valley.

Led by the Environment Agency, the project seeks to identify those areas in the Misbourne catchment at greatest risk of flooding and to investigate if there are feasible options to reduce flooding across the catchment.  In addition, it is hoped that the model can also be used by the Agency and others in future to investigate issues such as low flows, abstraction and river restoration.
